Gorre
Draws its name from the river "Gorre" which formerly powered some mills (the mills of "Chez Raymondeau", “La Forge” and "Chez Minet"). This commune with a neolithic past possesses in its town centre a castle of the 18th century, in private property, built by Martial Beaupoil of St Aulaire. The old church of the 11th Century built adjacent to the castle, was entirely destroyed. The current church was rebuilt in a néo-roman style in 1892.
